Book language: HebrewThis book is in Hebrew.

The book series “Peninei Halakha,” written by Rabbi Eliezer Melamed, is the flagship project of Yeshivat Har Bracha and a central hallmark of today’s Torah world. The series aims to make the world of Jewish halakha accessible to the general public, while bridging the gap between practical halakhic rulings and the depth of thought and spiritual ideas underlying the mitzvot. Unlike books that focus solely on the end result, Rabbi Melamed’s writing seeks to explain the “why” alongside the “how,” thereby making the observance of the mitzvot a more meaningful and connected experience for the learner.

The Complete “Peninei Halakha” Set—22 volumes.

The “Peninei Halakha” book series, written by Rabbi Eliezer Melamed, is the flagship project of Yeshivat Har Bracha and a central hallmark of today’s Torah world.

Rabbi Eliezer Melamed, who serves as rabbi of the community and yeshiva in Har Bracha, has developed in this series a unique methodology for clear and systematic halakhic writing. Each topic is explored starting from the sources in the Torah and the words of the Sages, through the rulings of the Rishonim and Achronim, to practical application in the complex modern reality of our times. The series is known for its inclusive approach, which incorporates the customs of all Jewish communities—Sephardic, Ashkenazi, and Yemenite—with the aim of creating a Torah that unites the people around shared halakhic foundations, while giving due respect to the unique customs of each and every community.

The scope of the series is impressive and currently comprises 22 volumes covering all areas of life: from the laws of prayer, Shabbat, and festivals, through issues of kashrut, family, and ritual purity, to topics concerning the public and society such as the military, the economy, medicine, and the settlement of the Land of Israel.

The Peninei Halakha books have been warmly received by the public, are studied in tens of thousands of homes, yeshivas, and educational institutions in Israel, and have been translated into several languages.

The “Peninei Halakha” books gave me full clarity on Judaism and what it stands for.
The “Halachot” and the reasons behind them including Jewish thought are all included in this amazing series!
I was raised an Ultra Orthodox Jew. But I never fully understood Judaism until I learned these books.
They are easy to read and by the end you have true clarity!
“Pnini Halacha” is the New Rambam. It’s the new Shulchan Aruch, the new Kitzur, Aruch Hashulchan and M.B.
    It’s Modern day Halacha!
The books can be found in 5 or 6 languages (English included – great translation!)
I Highly recommend this series to anyone who wants to understand Judaism and want to live a Jewish life.
